• Responsible for the infrastructure in Amazon Web Services: EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, Route53, API Gateway, Certificate Manager, IAM, Lambda, S3, VPC, etc.
• Troubleshooting and incident management support for all AWS services.
• Building, tagging and pushing Docker images to AWS ECR for deployment in ECS.
• Monitoring and alerting services with Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus and on-call with PagerDuty.
• Deployment of services to all environments (qa, staging and prod) through Jenkins.

Devops Engineer

Part of the team responsible for the development, maintenance and management of the systems responsible for handling ESPN.com’s content. We provide the core infrastructure and backend APIs that serve content to other ESPN.com systems.

Part of the Disney DTCI Techology team responsible for the migration of ESPN on-premises services and legacy applications to the cloud,integrating Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, Cloudformation, ECS, etc.), so it was possible to reduce operating and maintenance costs. In addition, it helped to improve the user experience by having high availability systems with unparalleled performance.

• Infrastructure level support (AWS) for ESPN, ABCNews (News) and ABCOTV (Television).
• Execution of activities for the administration of services in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Monitoring and alerting of services through DataDog, Grafana and New Relic.
• Support for troubleshooting and incident management for all services in AWS.
• Deployment of services to all environments (sandbox, qa and prod) through Team City and Jenkins.

• Evaluation, monitoring and improvement of IT infrastructure with emphasis on availability, reliability, scalability, security, data confidentiality and system integration.
• Scheduling and executing plans for backups, data recovery and maintenance on servers and workstations. Error documentation and troubleshooting.
• Technical support to administrative staff, teachers and authorized users within the laboratory.
